Pearl has gained some weight. Married life has been good to her, not to mention that sucking down food to keep the other dogs away has made her a little fat/happy.
Anyway, we finally got a nibble on the table. Hopefully it sells. No big whoop.
The sink and faucet have arrived (the 2nd time for the sink) and are in. I installed the disposal and the dishwasher the following day after the bondo dried and the sink had properly adhered to the countertops. The surface is a product called Caesarstone and is a solid surface quartz material.
These are W8 x 21's. Which means a nominal 8" high and 21 lbs per foot in length. Since they are 18.5 ft long, they weigh 388 lbs. And yes, my shoulder did hurt like hell the next day. The installation of these two beams allowed for the removal of two walls and with the inclusion of the third column, I was able to have a "T" shape that eliminated a column landing in the middle of my living/dining/kitchen.
I always thought staining would be something that I am good at, like demolition. I mean come on, I've been tearing things up and staining things for years. Not same, same.
The framing, wiring, blocking and plumbing are all ruffed in. We are now about to finish the drywall & the cabinets are due to begin installing this Wednesday.
