48 hours... Austin to Phoenix (and back)

Wish me luck on this crazy whirlwind trip to retrieve baby artifacts.   We are grateful for the intense generosity of our relatives but this is an insane journey.  2080 miles.   17 hours each way.

Ok, the Cat is out of the Bag

I love ERIC

In this crazy world, from time to time you run across a simple piece of paper that just makes you smile.   I found this blowing across the parking lot of a gas station in San Antonio and I fell in love with Eric.   I hope he didn't loose this scrap.   I hope he let go of it intentionally.   I feel kinda guilty for having it but none the less it is one of my favorite found objects.

The 'A' side was pretty cool.   Eric, leaving himself a message,a reminder if you will.

But the 'B' side is complete ART.   A simple clarifiing document, something many of us do from time to time.   We layout our needs vs our wants.   Well Eric wants a dinosaur/he needs a desert rock formation and a sandwich.     I HOPE ERIC GETS HIS DINOSAUR AND HIS SANDWICH.

H2:  Better now that I'm hooping.  It had been 7 days.

Westinghouse Coke Machine

After many months, I was able to track down and get the coke machine I was looking for.   This Westinghouse WB78-B6-D was made between '59 -'66 and is great for my friend who wants to use it as his beer fridge.   Compact and holds 72 bottles or cans.   It is very gentle and drops the drink without much fuss.
